Yellowstone and Grand Tetons - Here We Come!

In the dark of the morning, the shuttle appeared out of the haze and humidity to whisk us to Tampa International! The kiosk check went well, once we found one that was working, and there weren't many people at Security; TPA has workstations complete with electricity to go with the free WiFi and all is right with the world! There was even a welcome sign in American Sign language for my ASL teacher at Sunlake!

It got even better when we found out we were in the exit row!! Tons of leg room! The flight wasn't fully booked and Marilyn was able to move to the aisle seat and put her hat in the middle seat. The movie was a tear jerker that I was smart enough to ignore and I'm loving my new book, Heresy. I wasn't smart enough to turn down the coffee. When I found it undrinkable I was bemused until I noticed the proud statement, "We serve Starbucks!" As we taxi into Denver there is a Frontier Airlines plane with an owl painted on the tail! This will be a good trip!

The Denver airport has lots of pedways and a Sara Lee sandwich shop. Since we left the house at 4:00 to walk up to the gate, waiting until we reached Salt Lake City for lunch at 2:15 (our time) just wasn't an option! Our gate is a strange affair! There are twelve gates that all leave from the same place! I haven't figured out quite how it works, but there is still almost an hour before our flight boards and people do seem to be disappearing. I HOPE it is into a plane!

  1. Okay, I have to know so I won't rent a tearjerker: what was the movie? And the rest of the journey sounds like fun. ;-)
