Starting off!

Stu graciously picked me up and chauffeured me to TPA, where I was astounded by the lack of travelers!  Apparently no one got the memo about Summer beginning!  I was able to get from the front door, through security and to my gate in TEN minutes!  That left lots of time for snacking and reading a new book I just got that happens to be set in Ruin, Turkey!  What are the odds?  It's called Sanctus by

Ginger met me at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and spirited me home, where I texted my guys that I was safely back on the ground, and sampled Ben's latest smoking experiment (food smoking, that is!).  It was a huge success!

We're setting off for the drugstore get large bottles of mouthwash and such, or at least larger than 3 ounces, since we will be shipping our bags through from New York to Istanbul.  Unfortunately they will charge us for the leg from Atlanta to NY, but we figure we'll put all the liquids in one bag and share the cost.  And we've figured out that it will be cheaper to take two taxis from LaGuardia to JFK than to take the shuttle at $36 per person!  I thought that was surprising!

We have to be on the road at six tomorrow morning, so it's time for final packing, dinner, showers and bed!  Getting six people organized and out the door is sure a lot different from just getting one!!
