June 18th - last

We walk to Andy's apartment and he walks his bike along with us. It is raining, but not awful and we really want to see it! Along the way we stop at Loc City to pick up some beverages and there are a lot of beers and others to choose from. We also run into one of Andy's friends, Shawn, who is also a teacher at Andy's school. He's just getting off work and was hoping to find a dinner that he didn't have to cook!

We now armed and ready to be awed and amazed! A short walk takes us to Andy's place which is one up one floor. It has everything one person could need! The front room is the kitchen/ dining room and has a microwave and washing machine, a rice maker and a table and chairs. His living room/bed room is behind it with a low couch, his bed, tv, sound system and Wii. There is room for all of us to sit and we take turns creating our "me's" on the Wii. What a blast! We all have avatars now and they follow directions to line up by height or anything else we choose. Mine has red hair! Hey - it's my fantasy and I can do whatever I want!

It is getting late and we are about to crash, so Andy writes "please call taxi" for us in Japanese and we walk back to Loc City where we think we will be able to catch a cab. The guard at Korona World walks us over to the cab phone and calls for us. It should be about half an hour but we only wait five or ten minutes, happily, and we speed home and to bed!
